All of Elina Organics’s products are free from parabens, sulfates, toxic preservatives, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates (SLS), harmful colorants and fragrances, mineral oils, petroleum, and other harsh chemicals. They do include healing antioxidants that help nourish skin and protect against free radical damage.
The Baikal Crystal Balm is a moisturizer appropriate for day or night and has the skin-restoring, hydrating, and nourishing Lubomirskia freshwater sponge as the main ingredient. This is found only in Russia’s Lake Baikal and has been used for centuries as a remedy for inflamed, damaged, and bruised skin. Lubomirskia sponge can also help regulate sebum secretion, increase fibroblast regeneration, and help with skin’s overall appearance and resiliency.
The balm is best for dry and aging complexions but can be used with any skin type. It’s a very thick cream and I think it’ll be great for the upcoming winter months. Although it’s.a thicker cream in consistency, it absorbs well into my skin and felt really soothing.
The Probiotic Lip and Cheek Colour is available in three shades, from left to right: Rosey Pink, Golden Bronze, and Glistening Gold. They are naturally pigmented and moisturizing and can be used as a cream blush, lip gloss, or highlighter.
What I love most about these color balms is that they’re enriched with probiotics and have skin-nourishing fermented oils and organic plant butters. They have a smooth finish and absolutely gorgeous color payoff. Since they’re made with the highest quality food-grade ingredients, they’re even safe to eat! Not that I recommend that, but you don’t have to worry about any being ingested if worn on your lips.
