I love wearing makeup but I also love how good it feels to wash it all off at the end of the day. I was previously using disposable makeup wipes but they’re not the most environmentally-friendly product. The Makeup Eraser towels; however, are great at removing makeup and are reusable!

I love Hello Kitty, so when I saw the Hello Kitty and Friends Set I had to buy it! I also needed a new Makeup Eraser, so that helped, too.

Makeup Eraser towels are available in the original 15.5″ x 7.5″ size and the smaller sets like this Hello Kitty one that are 5″ x 4″. They also have other branded collections from Nickelodeon, Disney, and more.

Each Makeup Eraser towel is good for seven uses in between washes and this set came with seven individual towels, meaning you can get 49 washes from them all. Granted, I probably won’t wash them all at the same time so I don’t run out, but you can see they’re quite durable. They’re machine washable and last for about three to five years, replacing approximately 3,600 makeup wipes PER cloth!

These cloths are adorable! From left to right and top to bottom we have: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, My Melody, Tuxedo Sam, Kuromi, Keroppi, and Cinnamoroll.

The side with the character face (pictured above) is for cleansing. All you need is water and the cloth to remove all types of makeup, from foundation to waterproof mascara (seriously!). The opposing side (photos below) has slightly longer fibers for gentle exfoliation.

I love the bright colors on each cloth. As you can see, the exfoliation side has a tag that you can slip your fingers under to make it easy to wipe off makeup with the cleansing side.

Here’s what the Hello Kitty cloth looked like after I removed a full face of makeup. It truly does remove so much makeup with just a few passes over the skin, including my waterproof mascara! They feel soft on the skin, too.

The set also comes with a laundry bag for washing the cloths, which I think is a great addition. It has an adorable Hello Kitty face and will protect the cloths and keep them from getting mixed up with all of your other laundry.

Bottom Line: The Makeup Eraser cloths are one of my favorite skincare products that aren’t an actual cream or lotion. They’re great at removing makeup, which is essential prior to actually cleansing. Plus, the adorable Hello Kitty and Friends designs make them even more fun!
