Beautisol is a cruelty-free company that offers quite the catalog of sunless self-tanning products.  Even if you aren’t one to use self tanners, I still recommend that you check them out because they also offer a bunch of skincare products, like the Exscrub Me? Citrus Face Exfoliant.

I do a heavy-duty exfoliating routine once a week for my oily but sensitive skin.  By “heavy-duty” I mean that I like to use a thicker scrub, not necessarily that it’s a harsh one.  The Beautisol Exscrub Me? Citrus Face Exfoliant perfectly serves my needs because it’s gentle but it still gets the job done.  The paraben-free formula is made up of finer grains and larger, pink/red beads for a good, all-over scrub.  My skin felt very smooth after using this.

My favorite thing about the description on the back of the tube is the first sentence: “Got alligator face?”  Why, yes; I do.  Nothing feels better than exfoliating after a long week of skin building up.  I know some people are able to use a product like this more than once a week, but if I try to my skin just goes berserk and starts churning out even more oil.  Beautisol recommends using this twice a week or as needed.  It’s meant to be used before their “Need I Glow More?” face self-tanner, but it’s appropriate as a scrub on its own for all skin types.  The best thing about it (besides the fact that it’s certified cruelty-free by PETA) is the scent!  It really does smell citrus-y and refreshing.

Bottom Line: I loved using the Beautisol Exscrub Me? Citrus Face Exfoliant and I’ll continue to use it as my weekly scrub.  It worked great and smelled even better, and I recommend it for anyone who wants to add an affordable yet luxurious experience to their skincare routine!
