ARE is an acronym for “Antioxidant Response Element,” and the “i” in the MDAiRE name represents “the introduction of.” The name therefore means the activation of the powerful antioxidant response element anti-aging pathway in skin.
The RMF Hydrator Barrier Repair helps strengthen the skin barrier. The skin barrier protects the body from free radicals, harsh environments, and other damage. Keeping it balanced is the key to healthy skin.
The cream contains a peptide complex to help reverse sun damage, brown spots, and texture irregularities; and a ceramide complex to restore the protective skin barrier. There’s also hydrolyzed collagen to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and beta glucan (an antioxidant) to strengthen the skin barrier and minimize water loss.
The cream comes in an airtight pump dispenser, which keeps the product from weakening due to contact with the air. It can be used morning and night and alone or with the MDAiRE Vitamin C-FK or RXR Retinol.
The RMF Hydrator Barrier Repair cream is lightweight and feels great on my skin. Even though I have oily skin, hydration is not the same as oil production. It’s important for all skin types to maintain balanced moisture, and the hyaluronic acid in this cream is perfect for keeping moisture inside of the skin, as it’s a humectant.
The cream absorbs quickly and a little goes a long way, especially if you apply it after a serum. I’m looking forward to continuing to use the RMF Hydrator Barrier Repair and hopefully it’ll help with the sun spots I have, too. It’s a high quality formulation so I’m sure it’ll do wonders.
