I think one of the great simple luxuries in life is a great pair of socks. Sheec Socks has a diverse line of socks that can be worn with all different types of footwear or for any occasion. I tried out some of their styles and was thoroughly impressed.

Sheec Socks was created in Brooklyn when founder John wanted to create stylish but comfortable socks for women in heels after seeing his wife commuting to her global financial services job without any comfortable options. The first Sheec products were the Secret Ultra Low-Cut socks, Slingback socks, and Sockshion Ball-of-Foot Cushions. They’ve since grown to include 15 different styles for men, women, and children.
Sheec Socks offers personalized customer care to help you find the perfect socks for your needs. All of their products are made with unique fabric blends (including super-soft Modal) and patented technology to make them more durable and long-lasting than other socks on the market.

I received a variety of socks to try from the Women’s collection that were appropriate for my shoe size (they are not one-size-fits all). From left to right in the above photos, there are the: Half Socks for Casual Mules, Half Sock for Dressy Liner Mules, SoleHugger Secret 3.0 Ultra Low-cut No-show Non-slip Liner, No Show Liners for Dressy Shoes (both brown pairs), Women’s Fleece-Lined, Women’s Merino Wool, and two SockShion Foot Cushions.
I know that tall socks are in style right now, but I prefer to have a no-show sock for flats and for sneakers. I recently went to New York City and had ample opportunity to try out all of these socks, as I did plenty of walking!

I wore the Active-X No Show Socks for Casual Shoes with my Adidas Grand Court sneakers and they were perfect. No chafing, no uncomfortable itching, and they held up to a day of walking around New York. Even though these are “High-cut,” they still are no-show when it comes to sneakers. I appreciated that they covered most of the top of my foot so it wasn’t rubbing against the inner part of my sneakers.

What I like best about the Active-X line is that they have a lining inside the heel that keeps them from slipping around while you walk. It’s really annoying when your socks bunch up in your shoes, but these didn’t do that at all.

The Merino Wool socks are also divine! It gets cold here in the winter and I love wool socks for keeping my feet warm without making them sweaty. The fleece-lined socks will also come in handy for the cooler months.

Sheec Socks also sells accessories, including laundry bags, shoehorns, and foot files. The laundry bags are something I wouldn’t have thought about, but obviously it makes sense to care for your socks by washing them in a delicates bag. The shoehorn is, of course, for helping you get your shoes on and off, and the foot file is my favorite of the bunch. It’s made of glass and available in “Fine” and “Super Fine” varieties. At the time I received this my heels were pretty dry and callused and were catching on my bedsheets and socks, which is the grossest feeling! This file quickly and painlessly took care of that problem.

Bottom Line: I thoroughly enjoyed all of the Sheec Socks products that I tried. The socks are made with high quality materials but are still affordable. I loved how comfortable they were and they passed the test of long city walks in New York City! They offer so many styles for all types of shoes, so you’ll definitely find something to fit your needs.
