Pimple patches, or hydrocolloid patches, have been popping up everywhere (pun intended!) lately. With so many brands to choose from, Dalmatian sticks out with their unique designs!

Dalmation sells cute pimple patches that shrink zits. They’re made from hydrocolloid, a transparent dressing used in the medical field to treat wounds. As far as pimples go, the patch creates a breathable environment for a popped zit to heal and absorbs the gross stuff that comes with pimple popping.
Dalmatian currently has three design packs that can be purchased individually or as part of their Spot Sticker Trio Bundle, which includes the cute Dalmatian hair clip in the photo above.
The patches also have niacinamide and tea tree oil in them, which further help combat and heal pimples. Niacinamide is one of my favorite skincare ingredients, as it’s great for discoloration and balancing oil production. Tea tree oil helps soothe irritated skin and also works to calm excess oil production.
The stickers are available in three packs (from left to right in image above): Groovy, Fruity, and Cutie. Each pack contains 32 stickers each in four designs. All options contain the same ingredients referenced above and are to be left on skin for four to eight hours for best results.
I really like the sturdy cases that they come in, too. They click shut and are easy to throw into your purse, gym bag, or anywhere else.
I think the Dalmatian pimple patches are adorable! Here’s a close-up of the Fruity patches. They’re a lot more fun than the standard plain patch. I also like how they completely mask the pimple — sure, you have a blue strawberry on your face, but I’ve found that with plain pimple patches I’m tempted to take it off too soon because I start to see the pus from the pimple absorbing. Gross, I know, but I think we all secretly enjoy seeing the patch do its job! Since the patch is opaque due to the designs, it’s easier for me to put it on and leave it alone.
I currently have a pimple on my chin that’s healing so I used one of the Cutie pimple patches (a blue heart). If you’re not brave enough to wear the designs out and about, you can always put them on overnight (which is usually what I do for any patch, since it’s an automatic eight hours where I won’t be tempted to mess with it).
